Pale Straw colour, citrus peel, lime zest, nettle, floral spice and lemongrass aromas offer a fresh uplifted clean fruit driven style Chardonnay. Sweet brioche and subtle vanilla extract from French Oak Barriques add complexity and nutty layers. On the palate, the wine is very structured and linear with fine acidity and cool climate elegance. White peach and mandarin flavours burst onto the palate. Lees stirring and partial secondary fermentation adds silky texture and creamy mouth feel. The palate is long and finishes with dry mineral edges making this wine perfect with most foods. Further bottle maturation for 3-5 years will encourage complexity and softness.
